La volta dell'eremo รจ completamente ricoperta da un tappeto di Capelvenere (Adiantum capillus veneris). Il Capelvenere appartiene al gruppo delle Pteridofite (Felci), piante che si riproducono tramite spore prodotte all'interno di sporangi, sulla pagina inferiore delle fronde (Gli sporangi del capelvenere hanno una caratteristica forma rettangolare e sono di colore marrone, ben visibili nella foto).
Il nome Capelvenere deriva dal fatto che le fronde sono leggere e delicate ed inserite su un sottile stelo nero e lucente come i capelli di Venere.
