COLLE SAN MARCO: HISTORIC TOUR NATURE-

Il colle San Marco è un imponente limestone plateau, composed mainly of travertine, which rises majestically to the south of the city of Ascoli Piceno. Covered with a luxuriant vegetation of mixed forest, with a predominance of oak, chestnut, hornbeam and oak, the Hill is full of historical elements related to the life of the monks and the experiences of the partisans of the Second World War.
Given the historical and natural interest, the students of Mazzocchi, accompanied by teachers and Paola Bruni Luigi Peroni and technical, as well as mountain guide Peter Cardi, have done a wonderful hike in the wooded area between San Marco and shores. In a particularly striking setting we visited the Grotto of the Blessed Conrad l'eremo di San Marco e abbiamo visto l'imponente Dito del Diavolo.
