Il beato Corrado Miliani(1234-1289), nel 1250, quando era ancora adolescente vestì il saio di San Francesco; dopo studi universitari a Perugia andò missionario in Africa ove, tra sacrifici e privazioni, svolse una grande opera di predicazione. In seguito andò ad insegnare teologia alla Sorbona di Parigi. Nel 1288 fu convocato a Roma per ricevere la porpora cardinalizia; pertanto partì da Parigi, come sempre a piedi nudi e dopo tre mesi, ormai stanco e logoro, arrivò ad Ascoli; Corrado,malfermo di salute, trovò rifugio nella famosa grotta nella quale la morte lo raggiunse ben presto.

COLLE SAN MARCO: HISTORIC TOUR NATURE-

Il colle San Marco è un imponente limestone plateau, composed mainly of travertine, which rises majestically to the south of the city of Ascoli Piceno. Come preannunciato abbiamo aderito all'iniziativa "ACQUA DI RUBINETTO? SI' GRAZIE" e, sebbene sia domenica, abbiamo voluto contribuire intervistando i passanti riguardo le abitudini relative al consumo dell'acqua potabile. Non tutti sono stati disposti a rispondere, ma noi abbiamo ugualmente cercato di far capire come sia migliore l'acqua del rubinetto per human health and especially for the health of the environment. The consumption of bottled water include:

• oil consumption and CO2 emission to produce the bottles
