After "Verdena" , "Just a great rock ', " The Suicide of the Samurai "and Requiem waiting for the new album Verdena was nothing short of enormous.

Alberto Ferrari, Luca Ferrari and Roberta Sammarelli have been able to find a dignified way only to leave behind the past continuing in a straight line parallel to what has already drawn up to Requiem that has created a new statement and consecration of their solid musical coherence.

Seguire questo album genera lo sviluppo di un'evoluzione artistica edificata su ritmi non più eccessivamente incalzanti (inseriti in questa opera con più rarità) come quelli del "sadico rock" iniziale di "Verdena" o de "Il suicidio dei samurai" ma comunque in grado di far decollare un animo trascinato da singolarissime "aritmie" musicali riflesse proprio nella produzione di questo doppio cd.

A livello di sensazioni c oglie sicuramente di sorpresa la quantità di riflettori accesi sul singolo "Razzi arpia inferno e fiamme" perchè è proprio in una canzone come questa ed alla sua degenerazione ritmico-sonora finale che la massa di "commerciabbilità" troverebbe veleno per le sue orecchie e dolore per il suo gentile e sbiadito amoroso animo così da indurre a cambiare la pubblicizzata e pomeridiana emittente televisiva; il pubblico di nicchia resterà quello però in verità affezionato a questo lavoro mentre verrà persa, ringraziando il cielo, la massa amante "del singolo" e non in grado di reggere ventisette impegnative tracce.
La causa scatenante di scelte artistiche così pesanti e impegnative è da inserire nell' incongrenza più totale dell'io verdeniano pieno di contenuti nella leggera e monetizzabile società attuale, nessuna canzone della tracklist può infatti minimamente essere paragonato per anomalie di strutture a quanto accade in tutte le altre realtà musicali presenti ai giorni nostri.
Allontanandoci di nuovo dalla concretezza del "singolo e determinato brano", i Verdena sono riusciti con "Wow" ad affermare a voce e testa alta un'immagine che potenzialmente avevamo già ben presente arrivati a "Requiem" , ma che ora può dirsi finalmente consacrata.
In una parola...:"Miglioramento" della specie.
In una canzone...: "Miglioramento" , scelta volutamente per voi come emblema di questo ultimo lavoro.
Il simbolo di una musica davvero diversa è il marchio di fabbrica dei Verdena, the possibility of going away in a kind of catharsis through their musical productions as possible.
