GRUPPO: "IL GENIO" - ALBUM "IL GENIO" (2008)
Il Genio è un gruppo pop?
Il Genio, non riesce ad accostarsi alle scelte sonore di tanti altri gruppi pop, fondamentalmente non è "Pop(ular music)", perché il loro Easy Listening non è certo frequente nelle canzoni di gruppi concretamente pop che vanno avanti con dischi venduti alle masse in quantità industriali.
Il loro primo ed omonimo album ("Il Genio" 2008) si rivela di una dolcezza poco scontata, contenutisticamente sono numerosissime le ambivalenze nei loro testi: perché se "Pop Porno" è una canzone d'amore allora l'amore è una farsa, e forse lo is.

Everything is so clear: the sounds and the vocal timbre of Alessandra Contini and his duo with Gianluca De Rubertis (binomio musicalmente esplicito in "Fortuna è sera") fanno si che "non è possibile che l'uomo sia andato sulla Luna",di conseguenza più concretamente parlando riescono con i loro brani a trasportarti in una realtà diversa.
Ti accorgi "divorando" di ascolti "Il Genio" che ciò che più riempirà il tuo essere interiore è "A questo punto" da ascoltare tutta d'un fiato e senza interruzioni ed il suo verso "ti ho risposto a quasi tutto" riesce a ripercorrere l'iter sentimentale di ogni uomo.
E "a questo punto ti dirò cosa ne penso..", tanto per continuare a citare questa dannata sesta traccia:
le canzoni de "Il Genio" sono dosi irregolari di miele.
